DUCK SOUP

Take an administrative task, add efficiency, a large pinch of organisation and a level table spoon of world-class time management and there you have it. Managing your business administration becomes Duck Soup - easy and effective, finished off with a generous helping of skill for good measure.

Whether it’s administration, finance or an event that needs organising, we take into our hands what’s needed to be completed and if required, we can always refer to our little black book to engage extra resources. We deliver each task on time and within budget, giving you back your valuable time to develop the business you love. Life is too short for added complication so why spend effort on the things you don’t have the time to complete? That’s our job.

WE MAKE YOUR BUSINESS, OUR BUSINESS.

1. Why did you start up Duck Soup London?

Over the last 10 years, I have worked closely with CEOs and Managing Directors across the UK, witnessing first-hand what it means to run a business. I wanted to bring my experience and expertise to start-ups and small business owners and Founders that don’t require full-time support, but need someone who understands business administration.

I personally thrive on the ability to give business owners and decision makers their valuable time back, enabling them to concentrate on the important tasks that only they can make happen.

When I came across the expression 'Duck Soup' - which means an easily accomplished task or assignment, or a cinch to succeed - I thought it was the perfect definition of what we are about. Business administration can become Duck Soup if it's done the right way and that's where my team and I come in.

2. What makes you different?

Our deep dive approach enables us to submerge ourselves in the clients' day to day working life so we can witness first-hand what it’s like to live a day in their working shoes. From this experience, we identify the areas in which we can make improvements. Being deeply involved in the clients' business also allows us to become pro-active rather than reactive in dealing with issues and therefore bring more value to our clients' day to day running of their businesses - an alternative point of view can make all the difference.

3. What type of clients do you work with?

All of our clients are Founders of small established businesses who are expanding and therefore require business admin support to help them get more from their valuable time. Managing it all themselves can become too much at this point so it's the perfect time for us to come on board.

4. What is your favourite part of the job?

Building  great personable relationships with the clients. We are taking part in a very personal journey with each business Founder and they have to feel they can trust us entirely; from the difficult and challenging, to the happy and successful, we like to hear about anything that is important to the team we work alongsideBeing open and honest is a natural part of the role that we offer and we all recognise it to be essential to help build and cement a lasting and collaborative working relationship.

5. What is your favourite quote?

Dream. Believe. Achieve.
